We depend largely on member support, partly by way of Access Fund joint membership dues, but more so by direct donations. SWPACC also relies on grants and business support, so if you’ve got any connections, put your Local Climbing Organization (LCO) in touch.
SWPACC is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, making your donations eligible for tax deductions.
Access Fund + SWPACC Joint Membership
SWPACC membership is a joint membership with Access Fund, our parent organization, so you can feel good about supporting two organizations that oversee the viability and sustainability of your favorite climbing areas. Becoming a member of your LCO is a simple and important way to provide your support and to get more involved in the local climbing community. Access Fund is the US national climbing advocacy organization. Founded in 1991, Access Fund represents millions of climbers nationwide in all forms of climbing: rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, and bouldering. Learn more about the Access Fund!
To become a joint Access Fund + SWPACC member, click Join SWPACC! Make sure the designation is for PA – Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Climbers Coalition.
If you are already an Access Fund member, you can because a joint member now and automatically extend your membership OR just contact Access Fund to add SWPACC to your current membership at any time!
